WORSHIP GENERAL INFORMATION

IN-PERSON WORSHIP INFORMATION
We strongly encourage you to worship online at home if:
  • You are 65 and above or have an underlying medical condition that puts you at higher risk (cancer, chronic kidney disease, COPD, immunocompromising conditions, obesity, heart conditions such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathies, sickle cell disease, Type 2 diabetes mellitus; other such conditions may include: asthma, cerebrovascular disease, cystic fibrosis, hypertension or high blood pressure, use of corticosteroids, neurologic conditions such as dementia, liver disease, pregnancy, pulmonary fibrosis, smoking, thalassemia, Type 1 diabetes mellitus.   • You have had a fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea over the two days prior to worship,
  • You have had known exposure to someone with COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to worship,
  • You are quarantining because you may have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 or you are worried that you may be sick with COVID-19,
  • If you are currently waiting on results of a COVID-19 test, or
  • You are unwilling to observe all of the practices outlined in the following section.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the following practices are in place at all times on church grounds, including worship:
  • Masks covering the nose and mouth are required at all times for everyone over two years of age. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided before you enter the Sanctuary.
  • A minimum of six feet of distance between members of separate households must be maintained at all times. Families are required to sit together and maintain social distancing from others. Sanctuary seating will be arranged in family groups with appropriate distancing. Seating will be assigned as families enter the sanctuary. Pastors will direct your family where to sit.
  • Reservations are required for all worship attenders. Please use the link below to register your attendance (available after online worship on 9/20).
  • A completed health screening form is required for every person in each family/household, and temperatures will be taken before entering the sanctuary. If you are unable to print the form at home, some one will ask you the screening questions before you enter. Before attending, consider your personal health and the health of everyone you have encountered for the past two weeks before making a reservation.
  • Indoor worship services will last a maximum of 30 minutes after all are seated.
  • The front Sanctuary doors will be used for entry, and the disability-accessible door on the west side of the sanctuary will be used for exit.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available at the entrance and exit of the worship space.
  • Tithes & Offerings may be given electronically or by placing them in the offering plate at the exit door.
  • No pens, bulletins, hymnals, or other shared materials will be in use.
The following activities and amenities are suspended until further notice:
  • Physical contact of any kind between separate households (including hand shaking, touching, embracing, hugging, etc.)
  • Passing of the Peace (meet & greet)
  • Passing of offering plates and attendance pads
  • Praying at the rail
  • Pens, bulletins, hymnals, or other shared materials
  • Food and drinks
  • Live singing and spoken congregational responses
  • Nursery, childcare, and Sunday School for all ages
